CSC Energy LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Commodity Specialists Company (CSC) and was formed in 2006 to consolidate CSC's emerging activity in the biofuels industry. We have initially focused on the following areas: domestic and international ethanol marketing and trading; biodiesel marketing; and feedstock procurement for biodiesel and ethanol production facilities.

Our parent company, Commodity Specialists Company, traces its beginning back to 1948, when an operating unit was formed within The Pillsbury Company to focus on merchandising grains. A strategic realignment in the early 1990's at Pillsbury resulted in the 1993 spin-off of this business to create the new entity, CSC. Today, CSC and its affiliates trades or markets 6,500,000 tons annually. CSC has been involved in the ethanol industry for over twenty years. The Company has been a leader in developing higher value grain uses for Midwestern ethanol plants.
